1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply when you browse or purchase from Luxury Furniture Supplies (“Luxury Furniture”, “we”, “us” or “our”) through luxuryfurniture.co.za. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (“CPA”) or other applicable South African law.

2. Products, pricing and availability

We aim to present product descriptions, images, prices and availability accurately. Colours and textures may vary slightly because of lighting, photography and screen settings. Products remain subject to availability. If an ordered item cannot be supplied, we will contact you to agree on an appropriate solution.

Prices are displayed in South African rand. The price and payment methods shown at checkout apply to your order. Orders placed through the website must be paid in full using an available checkout payment method.

3. Order confirmation

An order is received when checkout is completed successfully. We may contact you to confirm delivery details, access requirements, product options or other information needed to fulfil the order. Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate contact and delivery information.

4. Delivery and collection

  • Standard delivery is R500 nationwide.
  • Orders over R10,000 qualify for free delivery within Gauteng only.
  • Gauteng orders of R10,000 or less carry the standard R500 delivery fee.
  • Orders outside Gauteng carry the R500 delivery fee regardless of order value.

Delivery is generally arranged within 1–7 working days, subject to product readiness, manufacturing where applicable, the destination and access conditions. We will contact you if a different arrangement is required.

Collections are by appointment only. The relevant collection address and collection arrangements will be provided once the order is ready. Customers must ensure that doorways, stairways, lifts and access routes are suitable for the furniture ordered.

5. Furniture customisation

Customisation may be discussed for selected furniture pieces, including colour, fabric and size. Enquiries are handled through WhatsApp so that requirements can be confirmed before work proceeds. Customisation availability, pricing and final specifications depend on the selected item and must be agreed in writing.

6. Returns and exchanges

Return requests must be reported within 30 days from the date of delivery or collection. Returns are accepted for defective products only. Non-defective products, including change-of-mind purchases, cannot be returned.

Exchanges may be considered after the product has been assessed and the request approved. The customer is responsible for the cost of transporting or returning the item for assessment, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Products must be made available in a condition that allows the reported defect to be assessed.

To report a concern, contact us promptly with the order details, a description of the problem and clear photographs or video where possible. A return or exchange is not automatic and will be confirmed after assessment.

7. Six-month quality warranty

Furniture supplied by Luxury Furniture includes a six-month quality warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty begins on the date the product is delivered or collected.

The warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects attributable to us. It does not cover misuse, accidental damage, negligence, normal wear and tear, environmental damage, incorrect handling or unauthorised alterations or repairs.

After assessment, an appropriate remedy will be offered in line with the nature of the defect and applicable consumer law. The warranty is separate from the 30-day defective-product return window.

8. Appointments and business hours

Our office, consultations, showroom visits, warehouse visits and collections are appointment-based. The office is located at Business Centre, 180 Katherine Street, Sandton, Gauteng, 2148. No retail inventory is kept at the office.

Operating hours are Monday to Sunday, 9:00 to 17:00. Please arrange an appointment before visiting.

9. Website use and privacy

You may use this website for lawful shopping and information purposes. Website content, branding and product presentation may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
